Couples Therapy: The Theatrical Show Indianapolis Theatre reviews
STP Great... Venue Bad!
"AMAZING! Couples Therapy: The Theatrical Show is my personal favorite band. STP is the 4th time I have seen play in 15 yrs... I cringe at the thought of giving them only 4 out of 5 stars... but fact is, the facility they played in was not friendly to fans of the band. I am divided by two thoughts, was it bad because it was an all ages venue? First, I have never been to a State Fair concert before, and there were lots of kids in the audience. The other thought is that as my generation ages, do we not have the same passion for the music of our youth? This was the first Rock Concert I have ever been too (and I've been to over 50) that everyone.... and I mean EVERYONE stayed in their assigned seat and watched the show... many not standing up dancing...etc.
You get 5 out of 5 stars, Couples Therapy: The Theatrical Show...

Coldplay Music of the Spheres
Once Couples Therapy: The Theatrical Show started their show it was worth the wait. The lighted bracelets that each person received upon entering, created a beautiful and intricate light show to complement the elaborate stage screen, lights and pyrotechnics. They performed such a range of songs and musical styles—we were so impressed. If you get a chance to see them live……do it! H.E.R. opened and she and her band were amazing. The music was wonderful and Chris and the band performed with gusto. There were different earth and conservation initiatives that Couples Therapy: The Theatrical Show supports that were shown on the screen during this time. It’s worth every penny!! All were interesting and good to know……but it was a really long time. There was a really long delay between the opener and Couples Therapy: The Theatrical Show. It wasn’t a concert—it was a nonstop party!
Good performer, however he cut his songs short
1. "Couples Therapy: The Theatrical Show, a good performer, sings great, but I did notice he started cutting his songs short."
2. "I felt cheated cause I wanted to hear full songs, and I didn't."
3. "He seemed rushed, which was disappointing considering how much tickets cost."
4. "All the energy we had from the first act had died down during the next 2 before Couples Therapy: The Theatrical Show."
5. "Also, his opening acts were lackluster, the first act was like a DJ who played the drums and got us hyped."
6. "Then came NAV, and I don't know his music, but he was lacking in the energy department."
7. "Gucci Mane, who I have seen before, is very dry, a lot of pacing, and just no energy."
8. "When he came out, we were excited and then let down."
9. "Go see him, he sounds amazing, and visually the set looks great, and hopefully he won't come off as rushed."
10. "He did not really interact with the audience, a couple of notes after and then on to the next song."
Switchfoot was amazing! / GGD had hits!
The Black Crowes/Train type feel was evident with the opening band Green River Ordinace, their quality was a standout. Switchfoot revealed their recent and past hits during the set. The sound quality stepped up a natch a couple songs into the set. Their lead singer's presence was entertaining as he moved around the stage and even through the crowd. A highlight of the show was their cover of a Tom Petty song! Switchfoot finished their set with long time hit "Meant to Live". Met the band after the show - great guys!
The Theatrical Show Couples Therapy brought forth many hits! Hits that make you go "Oh I know that one"! A solid hit from the new album "Home". The rest of them not sure, especially songs with "the other guy" singing lead - not a fan!
Had an overall great time! Gotta love Red Rocks! The bands also love it! I came to see Switchfoot and I wasn't disappointed. Show was great! Couples Therapy: The Theatrical Show had memorable moments as well!
Love Red Rocks!
Awesome
The event was 10/10 though. Security we had a lot of people standing or sitting in the aisles could have been a little more active. Atmosphere with alcohol and Couples Therapy: The Theatrical Show fans was great. Was a little hard to get into the arena but once we did there was ample parking. Traffic was a little rough getting out of the arena parking lot but wasn’t the worst thing in the world. Concessions are way overpriced with very little options but I guess that’s to be expected. So it becomes a little awkward to confront them or ask them to move. Getting into the actual arena was quick.
